All of them work — only the approach changes. With babies we shoot in arms and at home; between 2 and 5 the session is all movement and play; after that we can manage some calm portraits too.
What if my child won't cooperate?
There's no such thing. Tantrums, running off and hiding are part of it — and honestly they make some of the best pictures. I never force a child into anything.
Can we do the session at our villa?
Of course. Sessions at home or at your rental villa are among my favourites: breakfast, bath time, the sofa. All it takes is natural light.
